Mobile Wallet Passes

Add your event tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for quick access and offline availability

When you register for an in-person event on Luma, you can add your ticket to Apple Wallet (iOS) or Google Wallet (Android). This gives you quick access to your QR code for check-in without needing to open the Luma app or find your confirmation email.

Adding a Ticket to Your Wallet

After registering for an in-person event, you'll see an "Add to Wallet" button on your ticket page and in your confirmation email. Tap it to save the pass to your phone's wallet app.

What's Shown on the Pass

Your wallet pass includes:

  • Event name — displayed prominently at the top
  • Date and time — when the event starts
  • Location — venue name and address (for in-person events)
  • Your name — the name on your registration
  • Ticket type — if the event has multiple ticket types
  • Host — the event host or calendar name (see below)
  • QR code — for check-in at the event

How the Host Name Is Determined

The "Host" field on the wallet pass is based on the calendar that manages the event:

  • If the event is on a team calendar, the pass shows the calendar's name (e.g., "Paris Blockchain Week")
  • If the event is on a personal calendar, the pass shows the host's personal name

If you're a host and want your organization's name to appear instead of your personal name, make sure the event is managed by a team calendar. You can transfer an event to a team calendar from Manage Event → Overview in the Visibility & Discovery section. See managing events with calendars for details.

Automatic Updates

Wallet passes update automatically when event details change. If the host updates the event name, time, or location, your pass will refresh with the new information. You'll receive a notification on your phone when the pass is updated.

If your registration is canceled or declined, the pass will be marked as expired in your wallet.

QR Code for Check-In

The QR code on your wallet pass works the same as the one in your confirmation email — event staff can scan it using the Luma app to check you in. You don't need an internet connection to show the QR code since it's stored on your device.
