Fee Invoices

Generate a monthly invoice for the platform fees Luma deducted from your sales.

If you sell tickets on Luma, our platform fee is deducted from each transaction as it occurs — you never receive a bill from us. For bookkeeping, though, you may need an invoice from Luma documenting those fees, for example to record them as a business expense or reclaim VAT.

You can generate a fee invoice for any completed month in which we collected platform fees from your sales. The current month becomes available once it ends.

Generating a Fee Invoice

  1. Go to luma.com/home/calendars and choose your calendar
  2. Go to the Payment tab and scroll down to the Sales History section
  3. Click the menu button next to Download as CSV and select Generate Fee Invoice
  4. Choose a month — each option shows the total platform fees for that month
  5. Review your billing details and click Generate

The invoice opens in a new tab. You can use your browser’s print settings (Command + P on Mac, or Control + P on Windows) to print it or save it as a PDF.

Billing Details

Before generating, you can adjust the details that appear on the invoice:

  • Name — your company or individual name
  • Billing Address
  • Tax Information — such as a VAT number
  • Additional Notes

Name, Billing Address, and Additional Notes are pre-filled from your calendar’s billing information — the same details that appear on Luma Plus invoices, which you can update in the Luma Plus section of your calendar’s settings. Tax Information isn’t pre-filled. Changes you make while generating apply only to that invoice — they aren’t saved for next time.

What the Invoice Includes

Each invoice covers one calendar month and shows:

  • An invoice number and invoice date
  • Luma’s legal name, address, and EIN
  • Your billing details
  • A line item with the total platform fees for the month, along with the number of payments and the gross sales they were deducted from

If you sold tickets in more than one currency during a month, we generate a separate invoice for each currency.

Fee invoices show no amount due — the fees were already deducted from your sales as they occurred.

Stripe Processing Fees

Fee invoices cover Luma’s platform fee only. Stripe’s processing fees are charged separately by Stripe — you can find documentation for those in your Stripe dashboard.

For a per-transaction breakdown of all fees, download the Sales History CSV — see Understanding Payouts and Event Proceeds.
