• Headers — You can insert two levels of headers.
• Images — Insert buttons from the toolbar, paste images, or drag and drop into the editor. You can resize images once they are inserted. Adding links or captions to images is not currently supported. To link to a URL near an image, you can add a Button element directly below it.
• Video Embeds — Paste in a link from YouTube, Loom or Vimeo and we will embed a video preview that can be played inline.
• Strava Embeds — Paste a Strava activity or route link on an empty line and we'll embed an interactive preview showing the map, distance, and elevation. Supports both activity URLs (e.g., strava.com/activities/123) and route URLs (e.g., strava.com/routes/456). Note: The activity or route must be publicly visible on Strava for the embed to work.
• Buttons — Add a button and customize the link and title.
• Attachments — We support PDF attachments. Insert from the toolbar or drag and drop a PDF.
• Links — Highlight some text and paste a link and we will automatically linkify the highlighted text.
• Bullets and Lists — You can nest bullets and ordered lists.
• Luma Events - If you paste in a Luma event link, we'll automatically expand this into block showing the event photo, name, and time. You'll need to paste the link on an empty line / paragraph.

Keyboard Shortcuts

• ⌘ + B — Bold
• ⌘ + I — Italics
• ⌘ + K — Add link
• Shift + Enter — Create a line break without starting a new paragraph

Markdown Shortcuts

We support several markdown shortcuts to make it easier to create rich texts.

• *text* — Bold the text inside
• /text/ — Italicize the text inside
• --- — Insert a divider
• -[space] — Start a bulleted list
• 1.[space] — Start an ordered list

Copy and Paste from Other Editors

We automatically detect formatting and images when you copy and paste content from other editors into Luma. We've tested this with Notion and Google Docs. If you encounter issues with copy and paste, please contact our support team with a link to the document you're having trouble with so we can properly investigate the issue.

Unsupported Features

Some formatting options like underline are not currently supported.
