What countries can I accept payments from?
We use Stripe as our payment processor. This has advantages and some limitations.
If you have a Stripe account, you can link it to Luma and start accepting payments. Or we can help you create a new Stripe account.
Luma supports Stripe accounts in a subset of the countries Stripe operates in. When you set up a new Stripe account, the Home Country list shows every country where you can create one. Indonesia is the exception: you can’t create a new account there, but you can link an existing Indonesian Stripe account. For any other country that isn’t listed, you can’t connect a Stripe account based there. Your customers can come from anywhere, though. For example, if you are in Mexico and create a Stripe account with your Mexican bank, you can accept payment from a customer in South America.
Once you have set up your payment details, you can accept payment via credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Stripe’s Extended Network
Countries marked “Extended network” on Stripe’s country list, like South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana, are served through Paystack rather than Stripe itself, so we can’t support accounts based there.
India
We can’t support Stripe accounts based in India due to technical limitations.
Other Payment Processors
We don’t currently support payment processors other than Stripe, such as PayPal or RazorPay.
