Discovering Events

You can follow Calendars and subscribe to cities and categories to get updates about events you’ll love. Open any page and tap Follow (on a Calendar) or Subscribe (on a city or category). It all syncs across iOS, Android, and the web.

What You Can Follow and Subscribe To

Calendars are public pages on Luma where a host shares their upcoming events. Follow one to get their events, newsletters, and reminders. You follow Calendars, not people — user profiles don’t have a Follow button, so open one of their Calendars instead. See the Luma Calendar Overview.

Cities are city pages on Luma. Subscribe to one and, on Sunday nights, you’ll get a weekly email rounding up what’s happening in that city the week ahead — great for your hometown or somewhere you’re visiting.

Categories group events by topic — AI, tech, crypto, wellness, fitness, food & drink, arts & culture, and more. Subscribe to the ones you care about to see those events in your feed.

Your Feed and Preferences

In the Luma iOS and Android apps, the Home tab shows a personalized feed based on the Calendars you follow and the cities and categories you subscribe to. Manage everything at luma.com/settings/preferences — scroll to the bottom to unfollow or unsubscribe from anything in the list. See Unfollowing a Host for stopping emails from a specific Calendar.
