Organizations

The enterprise-level home for your company’s calendars, integrations, and team

An organization is the top level of Luma for enterprise customers. It groups all of your company’s calendars under one roof, so features that should apply company-wide — like SSO, the HubSpot and Salesforce integrations, and cross-calendar insights — are set up once and cover everything your team runs on Luma.

Organizations are available on the Enterprise plan. Our team creates your organization during onboarding and helps bring your existing calendars into it.

Organizations vs. Calendars

Calendars are where day-to-day event management happens: creating events, managing guests, sending invites. Learn more about managing events with calendars.

The organization sits above your calendars. It doesn’t change how any individual calendar works — hosts keep running their events exactly as before. What it adds is a company-wide layer: one team roster, one set of integrations, and insights across every calendar at once. When features like HubSpot say they apply to “all events managed by your organization’s calendars,” this is the organization they mean.

What’s Managed at the Organization Level

  • Single Sign-On — connect your identity provider and control whether SSO is optional or enforced for your email domains. Learn more about SSO.
  • CRM integrations — connect HubSpot or Salesforce once, and guests from every organization calendar sync automatically.
  • API keys and webhooks — organization-wide access to the Luma API for custom integrations.
  • Team — organization admins, managed in one place.
  • Insights — registration and attendance analytics across all of your calendars.
  • Events — a combined view of every event your calendars manage.
  • Tags — organize your calendars with tags, useful when embedding.
  • Embedembed a combined feed of your organization’s events on your website.

Some Enterprise features stay at the calendar level by design. For example, a custom sending domain sets the From and Reply-To addresses per calendar, so different teams, brands, or regions can send from their own identity.

Adding Calendars to Your Organization

Organization admins can bring calendars they manage into the organization from the Calendars tab of the organization’s admin page. Adding a calendar doesn’t disrupt it — events, guests, admins, and settings all stay as they are. Once added, organization-level features like CRM syncing cover the calendar’s events going forward.

Calendars can also be removed from the organization at any time. If you have calendars spread across many team members — common when different regions or teams set up their own — your Luma contact can help consolidate them into the organization during onboarding.

Organization Admins

Admins are managed in the Team tab and can be added by email. Organization admins manage everything at the organization level: settings, integrations, the calendar roster, and other admins.

Organization admins are separate from calendar admins. Someone can help run a single calendar without having access to organization settings, and an organization admin doesn’t automatically appear as a host on individual events.
