Disabling or Enabling Notifications and Reminders

Learn how to manage your notifications and reminders on Luma

Managing your notifications and reminders on Luma is straightforward. For a full list of all notification types and who receives them, see Notification Types.

Web

You can manage your notification settings at luma.com/settings/preferences. For each notification type, you’ll be able to decide how you’d like to receive notifications - Email, SMS, and/or Push Notifications.

You can also scroll to the bottom to see Discover Pages and Calendars that you are subscribed to. You can easily unsubscribe from anything in that list.

Additionally, in every email you receive, there will be an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click on that to quickly unsubscribe from the sender.

iOS

In the iOS app, tap your profile photo (top left) to open Settings, then tap Notifications to manage your notification preferences.

For Event Hosts

As an event host, you can control what communications go out for your event. For example, you can send Event Blasts.

But you are not able to customize how guests will receive your notifications. For example, if a guest has turned off SMS for Event Blasts, you cannot turn that on.

Live Activities (iOS)

Luma can show real-time event info on your Lock Screen (and in the Dynamic Island on supported iPhones) before and during events. To turn this off, go to Settings → Luma → Live Activities. Learn more about Live Activities on iPhone.

Misc Notes

We use SMS for some countries and WhatsApp for other countries. You will see either SMS or WhatsApp based on your country.
