Managing Your Profile
You can manage your personal profile at luma.com/settings, or in the Luma mobile app under Settings > Edit Profile.
Profile Picture
To update your profile picture, click or tap your current photo and upload a new image. Your profile picture appears on your public profile, as a host on events, and in comments.
You can replace your profile picture with a new one, but there is no option to remove it entirely.
Name, Bio, and Social Links
From your profile settings, you can update:
- Name — displayed on your public profile and when you RSVP to events
- Bio — a short description shown on your profile
- Social links — Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and website
Username
Your username determines your public profile URL (e.g., luma.com/user/yourname) and your email sender address for personal calendar emails (e.g., [email protected]). You can change your username in Settings on web, or Settings > Account Settings on mobile.
Email and Phone
- Email — your primary email is used to sign in and receive event updates. You can change it from settings (requires verification). You can also add additional email addresses so invites sent to any of your emails are linked to your account.
- Phone number — used for SMS sign-in and event reminders. You can add or remove your phone number from settings.
Theme
Choose between Light, Dark, or System (follows your device setting). On iOS, you can also customize your app icon.
Security
You can manage your account security from settings:
- Password — set or change your account password (web only)
- Two-Factor Authentication — add an extra layer of security with an authenticator app (web only)
- Passkeys — sign in securely with biometrics or a security key (available on all platforms)
For more details, see Two-Factor Authentication and Passkeys.
Linked Accounts
On web, you can link third-party accounts including Google, Apple, and Zoom. You can also connect Ethereum and Solana wallets.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account from the bottom of your settings page. This is permanent and removes all your data, including events, guest lists, and tickets.
